John the owner and skipper of Sea Leopard has operated out off Newhaven for the past 15 years and has accumulated a vast knowledge of the seas and the wrecks, marks and fish they contain.

John remains a keen angler and is more than willing to help anyone from the professional angler to the absolute beginner to get the very best from the day.

 John caters for all types of fishing from inshore bass fishing to deep sea wreck fishing, and he delights in the thrill of seeking out new wreck sites far off shore for those big cod, pollack, congers and ling.

John is a fully qualified Yacht Master and is off-shore licensed to 60 miles from shore. He currently holds a sea survival, first aid and radio operators licence.

Sea Leopard is an Evolution 38 with a Cummins 450HP Engine giving a top speed of 26 knots – ideal for getting you far off-shore speedily and safely.

She is very spacious offering sheltered seating for everyone and na impressive array of ‘state of the art’ electronics for locating both wrecks and fish easily.

With your safety and comfort in mind we also have all the relevant life saving equipment plus cabin heating, a proper on deck flushing loo, a kettle and a microwave should you wish to heat up your food (not supplied.)
